After School STEAM Clubs ~ 2023-2024 School Year

Offering enrichment opportunities after school from 2:35 to 4:00.

Club sessions span the school year. Students will explore science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) through activities involving: Newton's Laws of Motion, electronics, circuitry, collaboration to design solutions to STEAM challenges, exploration of the engineering design process while learning about and creating solutions to real-world challenges, and learning the basics of coding and robotics.

I have 14 years teaching experience and a passion for STEAM. Exploring STEAM concepts with students is something I always worked to incorporate into aspects of teaching when I worked for Jefferson County Public Schools as a learning specialist, classroom teacher, instructional coach and technology lead. I strongly believe that the scientific and engineering design processes are key to fostering the critical thinking skills, growth mindset, and collaboration students need.

I hold an active teaching license in the state of Colorado with endorsements in:

Elementary Education (K-6)
Special Education Generalist (5-21)
Gifted and Talented Specialist (P-12)
